David A. Lauer, CPA - Partner
A graduate of Rider University, Dave's experience includes working as an internal auditor for a fortune 500 company. While there he performed compliance and financial audits of divisions throughout North America. As an internal auditor he reviewed, corrected and designed accounting systems capable of monitoring and reporting for multi-million dollar operations. Later Dave worked for a medium-size public accounting firm where he developed his expertise in tax and small business consulting. It was there that Dave found his passion for working with small business owners and individuals leading him to the vision that is now our firm. A firm committed to bringing big firm experience and technical skills to small business owners and individuals throughout Mercer and Bucks County and beyond.
A practicing CPA for 35 years, he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Tax Section of the AICPA, and the New Jersey Society of CPAs.
Over the last 20 years Dave has been a community volunteer for various baseball leagues in Hamilton; serving as Coach, President, and Treasurer. In that capacity he developed a desire to help others in their wish to volunteer, consequently Dave created Treasurer’s Briefcase, LLC a cloud based record keeping and reporting solution for small nonprofit organizations. Treasurer’s Briefcase www.treasurersbriefcase.com is now used by small all volunteer nonprofit entities throughout the United States. Dave can often be found hosting webinars and seminars for these small nonprofit organizations explaining compliance and control procedures and demonstrating the software.
